Brad’s
2008 NFL Outlook
by
Brad Robinson

(Webmaster's note-With the NFL season about to start in 2006, I turned to the person that I knew to be the expert on all things football.  Brad Robinson lives in Valparaiso, Indiana and has been a lifelong Packer fan and student of football since childhood.  He has competed in many fantasy leagues over the years, starting in one long before today’s proliferation of fantasy leagues via the Internet.

Since debuting in the Scoop, Brad has correctly picked the Colts to win the 2006 NFL Championship and baseball’s Red Sox to win the 2007 World Series.  Will he pick a correct champion a third year in a row?  I wouldn’t bet against him.  Brad’s 2008 NFL picks appear below.)

AFC

East

North

South

West

1.  New England

1.  Cleveland

1.  Indianapolis

1.  San Diego

2.  NY Jets (WC)

2.  Pittsburgh

2.  Tennessee (WC)

2.  Denver

3.  Buffalo

3.   Cincinnati

3.  Jacksonville

3.  Oakland

4.  Miami

4.   Baltimore

4.  Houston

4.  Kansas City

I think New England will be on a mission this year. They need to get the bad taste of losing their last game out of their mouth.

If Rivers improves as a QB, San Diego should be the second best team and have a shot at beating New England in the playoffs.

NFC

East

North

South

West

1.  Dallas

1.  Green Bay

1.  Tampa Bay

1.  Seattle

2.  NY Giants  (WC)

2.  Minnesota

2.  Carolina (WC)

2.  Arizona

3.  Philadelphia

3.   Detroit

3.  New Orleans

3.  St. Louis

4.  Washington

4.  Chicago

4.  Atlanta

4.  San Francisco

Dallas should be the class of the NFC. The Packers with Favre, wait the Packers don't have Favre, the Packers should win a very weak division and qualify for the playoffs. I think the Giants were a one hit wonder.

Dallas vs Seattle

New England vs Dallas

Super Bowl Champ- Dallas

I don't like Dallas but I think they will get lucky and beat New England.
