A Breif History: For the first half of my life, I thought I was destined to become a doctor, and I pursued that path through earning a B.S. in Biology. However, growing up with my father, Raji Azar Sr., who owned several restaurants, I eventually felt the pull to start a food business of my own. With a lifelong love of custard, I began making ice cream at home—and from that point on, I happily traded in my stethoscope for a scooper.
After graduating from GMU in 2008, I continued to build my skills by attending Penn State’s renowned Ice Cream Short Course in 2014, along with additional coursework at Anne Arundel Community College.
Going Green
We strive to keep our operations green and local by using wooden spoons and paper cups whenever possible and by partnering closely with a trusted local distributor in Winchester.
